Slowly bleed a sovereign nation to it’s death by perpetual war

Slowly bleed a sovereign nation to it’s death by perpetual war. It is obvious the war in Syria is heavily influenced by external forces. A global proxy war to see who first will gain the upper hand in this strategic region of the globe.  Russia, Iran , France , Qatar, Saudi Arabia, U.S. , Britain, Israel, Turkey, EU are funding and supplying military weapons, logistics and intelligence to the Free Syrian Army, the Assad Regime as well as supporting Al Qaeda linked foreign fighters from North Africa ( Libya LIFG, Morocco, Egypt, Mali-AQIM)  – Iraq – Chechnya  – Pakistan – Syria(Al Nusra). The conflict in Syria involves many nations whether considered friend or enemy. A Middle East proxy war  that will eventually destroy Syria from within.

The supply of weapons and foreign fighters into Syria by western forces is being achieved by the recent U.S. led NATO military intervention into Libya that destabilized the security of weapon depots, Turkish Intelligence recruitment and transportation of Pakistani/Taliban jihadist to Northern Syria, Qatar building a Sunni intervention force to fight in Syria,  and the French providing foreign fighters with missiles and Qatar crossing the Rubicon by supplying weapons to extremists.

Largest Shipload of Libyan Weapons Heading to Armed Groups in Syria

The British newspaper The Times revealed that the largest shipment of weapons has arrived in Turkey to be delivered to the armed groups in Syria.“A Libyan ship carrying the largest consignment of weapons for Syria…has docked in Turkey,” said The Times in an article published on Friday. The article´s writer, Sheera Frenkel, said most of the Libyan ship´s cargo is making its way to the armed  terrorist groups inside Syria. Quoting a member of the so-called `Free Syrian Army´, who called himself Abu Mohammad, the article said that the over 400 ton cargo included ´SAM-7 surface-to air anti aircraft missiles and rocket-propelled grenades (RPG`s)´

Turkish Intelligence transporting al-Qaeda from Pakistan to fight in Syria

“The Turkish intelligence agency sent 93 Al-Qaeda and Taliban terrorists from Waziristan (North Pakistan) to Hatay province near the border with Syria on a Turkish Air Airbus flight No. 709 on September 10, 2012 and via the Karachi-Istanbul flight route.”

Secret Turkish nerve center leads aid to Syria rebels

Turkey has set up a secret base with allies Saudi Arabia and Qatar to direct vital military and communications aid to Syria’s rebels from a city near the border, Gulf sources have told Reuters.News of the clandestine Middle East-run “nerve centre” working to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad underlines the extent to which Western powers – who played a key role in unseating Muammar Gaddafi in Libya – have avoided military involvement so far in Syria.“It’s the Turks who are militarily controlling it. Turkey is the main co-ordinator/facilitator. Think of a triangle, with Turkey at the top and Saudi Arabia and Qatar at the bottom,” said a Doha-based source.“The Americans are very hands-off on this. US intel(ligence) are working through middlemen. Middlemen are controlling access to weapons and routes.”

Qatar builds Sunni intervention force of Libyan, Iraqi terrorists against Assad

The Qatar oil emirate, encouraged by its successful participation in the campaign to overthrow Libya’s Muammar Qaddafi, has established a Sunni Arab intervention force to expedite the drive for Syrian President Bashar Assad’s ouster, debkafile’s military sources report. The new highly mobile force boosts the anti-Assad Free Syrian Army, whose numbers have jumped to 20,000 fighters, armed and funded by Qatar and now forming into military battalions and brigades at their bases in Turkey.

Qatar crosses the Syrian Rubicon: £63m to buy weapons for the rebels

On Monday, Qatar’s prime minister declared his state’s intent to start helping the Syrian opposition “by all means”, including giving them weapons. Two days later, anti-Assad officials received an offer of a $100m (£63m) donation, from their brothers in arms in Libya. Coincidence? Unlikely, if the Libyan revolution is any indicator.

France Provides Terrorists in Syria with Russian Igla Anti-Aircraft Missiles

He said that after Qaddafi’s regime collapsed and rebels came to conquer its army’s weapons and ammo caches, the French army which supported the Libyan rebels with logistical and intelligence backups, collected 232 Igla missiles which were in the hands of the Libyan fighters who were busy with fighting Qaddafi’s supporters.

“After that the French found some of the Libyan army officers who had been trained to use Igla missiles and in September 2012 they used these officers for training a number of al-Qaeda terrorists who ran operations in Syria,” Trablosi explained.

“Then” he said “the French transited these al-Qaeda members and the Igla anti-air systems from Benghazi to the Southern provinces of Turkey on a Bulgarian cargo plane and then ferried them across the border into Syria.”

It was reported by Long War Journal that Al-Nusra and Chechen Islamic fighters were operating in Aleppo conducting suicide attacks.

The Al Nusrah Front for the People of the Levant, an al Qaeda-linked jihadist group that is fighting Bashir al Assad’s regime in Syria, has claimed credit for yet another suicide attack as well as another joint operation with Chechen fighters.”

“Al Nusrah claimed the attacks in a series of three statements released on jihadist websites on Nov. 21. The statements were translated by the SITE Intelligence Group.”

“The suicide attack was executed by “the knight Abu ‘Aun al Shamali,” who used a car bomb “laden with 2 tons of explosives.” The statement was accompanied by pictures of the car bomb as well as the explosion at the hospital. Al Nusrah then detonated a car bomb parked outside the hospital and launched “an armed attack by a group of mujahideen on what remained of the headquarters.”

Modern Tokyo Times reported MIT and CIA along with other foreign operatives might be transporting Chechen fighters through Georgia and Turkey. Chechen connection with Al Nusrah Front in Syria is growing: Eyes on Turkey and concern in Russia

Turkey and Georgia have given either tacit approval of safety to Chechen Islamists. It is possible that the CIA and Ankara are working in coordination with other operatives. Other intelligence services in the United Kingdom and France could also be involved in certain areas

However, Russia Federal Security Service (FSB) was exposed with it’s infiltration of  Chechen Islamist. Conducting intelligence strategies from both sides of the war, infiltrate Chechen Islamic fighters and support Assad’s Army. Russia’s hand exposed: Spying Imams and mosque plots reveal Chechen link to Syria

Earlier this month, claims that the Russian intelligence services had infiltrated mosques in the volatile Islamic region re-emerged when one Twitter user began to post about the allegations. @Turk4Syria, an online activist, argued that mosques in Chechnya were “basically a department of the Russian secret service”, accusing the imam of the Ahmad Kadyrov Mosque of ordering the assassination of Shamsuddin Batukayev, former head of the Shari’a Courts in the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.

To protect it’s regional interests, Iran has stepped up military support for Syria by providing weapons  and building a 50, 000 parallel  force of Hezbollah fighters to combat the Free Syrian Army and terrorists.

Regional Flashpoint – Iran and Hezbollah ‘have built 50,000-strong force to help Syrian regime’

Iran and Hezbollah have built a 50,000-strong parallel force in Syria to help prolong the life of the Damascus regime and to maintain their influence after Assad’s fall, Israel‘s military intelligence chief has claimed.

Major General Aviv Kochavi said Iran intended to double the size of this Syrian “people’s army”, which he claimed was being trained by Hezbollah fighters and funded by Tehran, to bolster a depleted and demoralised Syrian army.

Exclusive: Iran steps up weapons lifeline to Assad

A Western intelligence report seen by Reuters in September said Iran was using civilian aircraft to fly military personnel and large quantities of weapons across Iraqi airspace to aid Assad. Iraq denied that report but later made a point of inspecting an Iran-bound flight that it said had no arms on board.

Much of the weaponry going to Syria now, diplomats say, continues to be shipped to Iran through Iraqi airspace and overland through Iraq, despite Baghdad’s repeated promises to put a stop to Iranian arms supplies to Assad in violation of a U.N. arms embargo on Tehran over its nuclear program.

To protect Russia’s Energy Security hub in the East Mediterranean Sea, strategic chokepoint via Suez Canal and maintain a permanent  Naval Base in Tartus, Moscow will continue it’s diplomatic influence, exporting weapons and cash to  the Assad regime.

Russia Sending Missile Systems to Shield Syria

Russia’s chief arms exporter said Friday that his company was shipping advanced defensive missile systems to Syria that could be used to shoot down airplanes or sink ships if the United States or other nations try to intervene to halt the country’s spiral of violence.

Russia ‘printing money for Syria’ claims report

Flight records obtained by the investigative website ProPublica:Flight Records Say Russia Sent Syria Tons of Cash  showed that at least 120 and up to 240 tons of bank notes were delivered during a ten-week period between July and September.

U.S. secretly trains Syrian opposition fighters in Jordan: report

THE US and several of its European allies are overseeing training bases for the Syrian rebels in Jordan in an effort to bolster moderate groups fighting to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad.

The move is the most far-reaching US involvement yet in the Syrian crisis and reflects broader Western concerns that Islamic militants such as Jabhat al-Nusra are making the running in the battle against the regime.

According to intelligence officers and diplomats in the region, rebel fighters are being offered training ranging from the use of light arms to more complicated manoeuvres, such as how to secure chemical weapons facilities. The policy is seen as a means of keeping control over what happens to imported weapons.

Syrian insurgents’ training at a mock up of “Assad’s citadel”: a spring board for American, French and British Special Operation Units

Observers say that this camp can be used as a bridgehead for the activities of US special troops in Syria, if Washington finds that Bashar Assad is going to use chemical weapons.

The training camp is located to the north from the Jordan capital of Amman, Corriere Della Sera newspaper reports. It is a mock-up of “Assad’s citadel”. There are 67 buildings, an airport with a passenger liner, an embassy mock-up, roads, a take-off strip and a field firing range. There Western instructors teach rebels of the Free Syrian Army how to fight with anti-tank fire systems, to conduct battles in city conditions, to make ambushes etc.

U.S. Army and CIA intelligence trained Syrian rebels returning to fight – senior rebel source.

Most of the first contingent of Syrian rebels taught by U.S. army and intelligence officers in Jordan to use anti-tank and anti-aircraft weaponry have finished their training and are now returning to Syria to fight, a senior rebel said on Thursday.

Western officials and Syrian rebel commanders declined to comment on reports in the German weekly Der Spiegel and other media outlets last week that said Americans were training anti-government Syrian forces in Jordan.

But a senior rebel commander close to the process said U.S. army and intelligence officers were training Syrian rebels and said most of the first batch of 300 fighters picked from southern Syria had finished their courses.

“This is a sensitive matter as you know, but yes the American army and intelligence are training some of the rebels,” he told Reuters on condition of anonymity.

It was reported by IPS , Libyan Weapons Arming Regional Conflicts,  that Libyan Islamist fighters have swollen the Ranks of Free Syrian Army.

Libya’s still heavily armed militias continue to sell their weapons on the black market directly to foreign militias from war-ridden countries, or to arms-dealers from third countries who then sell them on to warring factions, they say. Libyan Islamist fighters are also reported to have swollen the ranks of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in their fight against Syrian President Bashar Al Assad’s security forces.

The NATO backed Libyan General National Council advisor in charge of Libya’s disarmament program openly discussed Libya’s disarmament program involved transporting weapons and fighters to Syria.

Libya transporting weapons and fighters to Syria

According to a Libyan General National Council (GNC) advisor in charge of Libya’s disarmament program, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitive nature of the subject, “getting weapons and radical Islamists out of Libya is our main concern, so now we have a disarmament program where part of it involves transporting weapons and fighters to Syria.”

In a recent Associated Press article,   Obama Administration would arm Syrian rebels with Muammar Gaddafi leftover SA-7 missiles systems  in coordination with clandestine CIA support, US and Britain  special forces and intelligence officers on the ground in Syria.  It is no secret that many western intelligence agencies( BND, DGSE, MIT and CIA,MI6) are active in conducting clandestine operations, specialized training and intelligence gathering for the Syrian Rebels/foreign fighters. Western spies get discreetly involved in Syria

US plots to arm Syrian rebels with Muammar Gaddafi leftovers

THE US is launching a covert operation to send weapons to Syrian rebels for the first time as it ramps up military efforts to oust President Bashar al-Assad.

Mortars, rocket-propelled grenades and anti-tank missiles will be sent through friendly Middle Eastern countries already supplying the rebels, according to well-placed diplomatic sources.

The US has bought weapons from the stockpiles of Libya’s former dictator Muammar Gaddafi. They include SA-7 missiles, which can be used to shoot down aircraft.

The rebels are gaining ground after 20 months of civil war in which an estimated 40,000 Syrians have died. They have entered the suburbs of Damascus and have surrounded its airport. US State Department officials are in regular contact with rebel field commanders, talking to them on Skype for hours every day. The commanders have repeatedly pressed for more weapons.

President Barack Obama authorised clandestine CIA support earlier this year and both the US and Britain have had special forces and intelligence officers on the ground for some time.

15, 000 jihadists poised to head to Syria after finishing special training in Lebanon

Hundreds of well-armed jihadists have entered Syria through the borders with Jordan, as another 15, 000 are poised to head to Syria after finishing special training in Lebanon, Syria’s pro-government al-Watan newspaper said Sunday.

Hundreds of jihadists equipped with light and medium machine guns, anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons as well as four-wheel drive vehicles have entered Syria from Jordan through the southern province of Daraa, al-Watan said.

“Thus, Jordan has succumbed to the United States and Gulf States’ pressure to become, like Lebanon and Turkey, a passage to the jihadists into Syria,” the paper said.

A civil war is defined as a war between citizens of the same country. It is clearly not a war between citizens of the same country. If U.S.-NATO/Russian/Iranian backed foreign fighters are being trained in neighboring countries,  deployed into Syria to wage war and the foreign fighters outnumber the Syrian Rebels, then conflict in Syria can no longer be considered a Civil War, but rather a foreign invasion by proxy forces. An act of war by many nations.

From my vantage point, U.S. – NATO nations  are openly involved  in transporting weapons and foreign Al-qaeda fighters to training camps/Syrian territory. A strategy to destabilize the current Assad regime, establish a permanent foothold for the purpose of securing natural resources, pipelines , future energy security and install a foreign backed extremist regime.  Will this strategy be an achievement or will it be catastrophic blow-back? Time will tell.
